Near 116th Street and Broadway, you’ll find the Desi Food Truck.

It serves Indian food, which is described on the truck as the "Best Halal Indian Gourmet Cuisine".

The food truck is certainly colorful and attractive.
Happy New York Monday, everyone! Have a wonderful new week.

This is the chalk board sign from the food truck Walfels and Dinges. They sell a variety of Belgium waffles.
Seems to be a very popular food truck.
Happy New York Monday.

Black and White Wednesday: NYC Healthy Bites
September 28, 2011 | Filed Under Black and White Wednesday, Food Blogging Events, Food Trucks, Mobile Eating, Other NY Photos | 13 Comments

Sorry I was unable to post earlier this week (or visit other blogs). I was without Internet services for the past couple of days. However, everything is now back to normal (almost) and just in time for Black and White Wednesday — A Culinary Photography Event, which is hosted by Susan of The Well-Seasoned Cook. Stop by her blog to see the contribution of other participants.
NYC Healthy Food Bites is one of the many food trucks I walk by on Broadway. This one sells organic hot dogs, drinks, natural, sausages and natural hand-made pretzels. One of these days, I’ll have to try one of each.

I took this photo a few days after I took the one above. It was early in the morning, around 10a.m. The truck hadn’t opened for business yet.

Please pretend you’re looking at this photo on Monday. Please.
This is another food truck on the streets of New York. You can find the KorillaBBQ truck anywhere in the city. The company describes the food served as "classic Korean recipes in contemporary forms." A "Korean grillmasta." You can check out their menu at KorillaBBQ.com.

This is one of the many different food trucks around the city. The Street Sweets NY truck serves coffee, tea, cappuccino, latte, espresso, yogurt, quiches, soups, muffins, scones, cakes, pies and croissants. You can buy croissants filled with ham and cheese or spinach and cheese. If you’re in the mood for something sweeter, you can try their croissants filled with pastry creams like praline, chocolate, honey and vanilla. It’s a popular food truck.
I posted two photos because as usual, I couldn’t make up my mind which one to pick.
Happy New York Monday, all! Have a great week.
Paz
