New York Monday: Holiday Lights

November 26, 2012 | Filed Under Holiday Decorations, Holiday Lights, New York Monday

It’s that time of the year, when the holiday lights are going up around the city.

These two men worked very diligently, wrapping lights around the tree.

The lights will stay up until probably the end of January or February 2013.

I should have asked them to come decorate my small artificial Christmas tree.

If that happened, I’d pay them with freshly baked cookies.

Happy New York Monday, everyone!  Have a terrific new week!

  3. I think if more people paid with freshly baked cookies, the world would be a happier place :) have a good week!

  4. Hi Kat: LOL! Yes! I agree! 😀

  5. Lovely! I hope you had a great Thanksgiving, Paz.

  6. Lights for cookies sounds like a fair exchange. I think you should have asked them 😉

  7. Paz, I love this time of year! The beautiful Christmas lights hold a special place in my heart. When my children were little, we used to drive through the neighborhood in awe of the wonderfully decorated and lit houses. Even during years when I haven’t had a big tree, I always decorate with lights. I love them! These gentlemen have their work cut out for them. You’ve captured their work in progress beautifully! :)

  8. Hi Mari: Yes, I did! Thank you!

Hi Simona: I think you’re right! I should have asked them! :-)

Hi Bella: I enjoyed reading about you and your family checking out the holiday decorations in the neighborhood. Very nice. Thanks for your kind words.

    Thanks for stopping by, everyone!
    Paz xoxo
