I have no idea how to eat or cook an artichoke.  I tried once but it was a disaster.  Then I tasted canned artichoke.  Yuck!  Didn’t taste good at all.  So, I no longer eat it.  If you have any tips about cooking and eating artichoke, please feel free to share with me.  Thanks!

    Your photos turned out really well! I’m no artichoke expert, either. I usually just use the hearts!

    I have not had good experience with American artichokes, whereas I grew up eating excellent artichokes in Italy. I am afraid that if I draw any conclusion from that statement, it may sound disrespectful of domestic artichoke production. I wish I could have you taste my mother’s artichokes “Jewish style:” they will always be my favorite artichoke dish. I find it interesting that you were able to take lovely photos of a food you have no good feelings for :)

    Oh, Simona! I would have loved to taste your mom’s artichokes. I had to laugh out loud at your comment about me taking a nice photo of a food, with which I didn’t have a good experience. Thanks for the compliment. ;-D
