New York Monday

August 16, 2009 | Filed Under New York Monday

Sailing on the Harlem River on a nice summer day.

Yes, I know.  This is supposed to be a food blog but I haven’t done any food blogging, recently.  Life keeps getting in the way of my blogging fun.

Although I’ve been collecting a lot of inspiring and delicious-looking recipes, I haven’t felt much like cooking or food blogging, lately.  I buy the food ingredients but they remain in the fridge till they’re no longer suitable for use.  So, I may take a food blogging break for a while.  If the urge to food blog overcomes me, I’ll do so.  Right now, it’s not happening.

In the meantime, I’ll probably continue with the New York Monday photos, since I’m still taking photos.  And I’ll try to continue visiting all the other blogs.

Let’s see what happens.

Have a great week, everyone.  Happy blogging!

Have a good week, Paz. It’s nearly the end of summer, so have a little fun while you can. And blog when you want to.

  4. Love the serenity and how the ripples show in the photo. Hope you have a good week ahead, Paz!

  5. Sometimes, the food just isn’t interesting, or cooking is just all about feeding yourself, rather than making it look all professional or whatever. No big. Take a look back at what you were doing last year, and maybe you’ll inspire yourself? 😉

  6. When then need to fire up the kitchen hits, it’ll hit. Until then, have fun!

  7. Blogging is a lot of work, babe! especially when you are making or cooking things. You have to make them, photograph them, test or taste them, then write about them. You deserve a break. Come back whenever. I’ll always be following you.

  8. Food blogging is meant to be fun, so when you don’t feel like doing it, taking a break is the way to go. Sometimes other things take precedence, and how we feel always does. Have a great week!

  9. Oh, I understand so well. Blogging takes time, and food blogging is a lot of work! I took a year and a half off from blogging altogether, and what I often think would really be fun would be to just post a photo and a couple of words. Like you did. Beautiful relaxing photo.

  10. I completely understand! Take your time and enjoy your fabulous city! :)

  11. Love the NYM. Cook whenever you are inspired.
