New York Monday #148: Autumn Colors
November 9, 2008 | Filed Under New York Monday

When I posted this photo of some apartment buildings and an old water tower in the northern part of Manhattan (here), a few weeks ago, everything was green. Now the leaves have finally started to change. I love Autumn colors.
Have a great week, everyone!

stunning! love the deep rich colors!
Autumn is my favorite time of year with its rich colors. On Election Day, I’d gotten up very early to vote. My whole neighborhood was colorful with the trees’ change of color, and a fog had rolled in making it seem very mysterious and romantic at the same time. Lovely. A lot of my neighbors had put out huge planters of gold, bronze, yellow, violet, and dark red chrysanthemums on their steps, and orange Jack O’Lanterns were still out, too. The squirrels love those.
How fun to see the change! We just spent a week in Arizona, where it is still very warm - came home to a dramatic shift into fall, what a shock. Chilly, but beautiful! Fall colors are just so rich.
I am a spring person, but I agree that the fall colors are truly special. Have a great week.
Hi Paz… that is so soothing… because I miss Fall, my favorite season.
