Meme: 6 Quirky Things I Do
October 27, 2008 | Filed Under Memes

Mikky of My Finds has tagged me for a meme called 6 Quirky Things I Do.
Here are the guidelines to the meme:
1. Link back to the person who tagged you – that’s me.
2. Mention the rules on your blog.
3. Tell about 6 unspectacular quirks of yours.
4. Tag 6 bloggers by linking them.
5. Leave a comment on each of the blogger’s blogs letting them know they have been tagged.
Hmmm… Let me see… I’ve done several similar memes, which you can find here, but I’ll try to come up with some more quirky things for you.
1- I like to face my dollar bills according to its color — black side or green side.
2- I prefer to use only black ink pens.
3- I’ve started talking to the birds. In the morning, I wish them good morning.
4- I can’t get rid of my books (except for school books).
5- I like to eat french fries with ketchup and mayo.
6- I still like to watch Little House on the Prarie and it still makes me teary-eyed.
I tag anyone interested in participating in this meme. Please let me know that you’re doing it, so that I can read it. Thanks Mikky for the tag!
Paz

No 4 makes me laugh so much!
Somebody I know planned to get really, really rid of their school books – I remember how outraged an aunt of mine was when she found out her daughter and her friend were planning to make a bonfire of their school books after the annual holidays began! They got a nice yelling and the books were given off to charity!
Oh Paz. I love the answers. You Know , my husband loves to (until today ) little house on the prairie, too
Paz, you talk to birds and I talk to cats
I’ll think about my quirky things… will let you know if I have done it
No matter what else I’m doing, your lovely photos always make me stop and smile, make me happy that we live in such a beautiful world. And talking to birds – well, I’ve had some nice conversations with them too, of late…
how i loved to read the Little House on the Praise books, I think I have them all in a box somewhere
Oh my gosh, Paz!!!! I LOVE LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRE TOO!!! Once when I was in elementary school I got laughed at because I said it was my favourite show … I will never forget that. But I don’t care. Long live the Ingalls!
Hi Kat: Let me know if you decide to do this. I’d love to read your answers.
Hi Rosa: LOL! I’m glad I’m not the only one to talk to the birds.
Hi Mikky: Something else we have in common.
Hi Sra: Your poor friends. LOL!
Hi Sylvia: What good taste your husband has.
Hi Gattina: I talk to my dogs, too, of course. LOL! I’d love to read your answers.
Hi Terry: You are SO kind! It’s always good to be able to have a good conversation. With anyone.
Hi Ilva: I think it’s awesome that you still have your Little House on the Prarie books. Perhaps I’ll borrow them from the library and reread them again, one of these days.
Hi Ivonne: Those ignorant kids. They don’t know what they were missing.
Once I got an autographed post card from the LHOTP group. Another girl who liked the show, too, stole it from me. *sigh*
LONG LIVE THE INGALLS!
Paz
PAZ!
I haven’t been here in forever. I missed your beautiful pictures!
Loved the meme and I too love old LHOTP reruns. I sat down and watched the show Season 1-7 on DVD (we have it at the library I work at), and there were some moments when Pa would cry that I would lose it. Made me miss my Dad too.
Monster Librarian! Yeah, watching Pa cry was a tear jerker. I love the library that we can borrow so many awesome stuff!
Paz XOXO
You talk to the birds? LOL – I talk to EVERYTHING! My bed at night (“hello baby, it’s SO good to be back together with you”), the car, the chilli plants, the neighbour’s cats, the African violet… everything. So you’re not alone!
