Nice recipe, I've made it twice now in the last two weeks. It was a pleasant surprise to me in a yum cha 7 years ago and I've been wanting to have it again ever since. The constant stirring to stop the sago caking the bottom of the saucepan is a drag but the end result is well worth it. Nice night shot of the Yarra there from Crown too. One other thing, I'm not sure of the ettiquette here so sorry if I offend but I follow this recipe right to the end where I find adding a 1/4 to 1/2 cup of milk adds an extra creaminess that works a treat. I invite you to try the suggestion and see what you think.

Thanks for the tip. By the way, why is your sago soooo white? Are there different types you can buy from the store. The ones I cooked (well, tried cooking) looked brown.
