Yellow Cupcakes

I love how the yellow roses compliment the Yellow Cupcakes in this photo.

 

 

Kat of Our Adventures in Japan has tagged me for this latest meme called 10. 

Here are the rules:
1. Post 10 of your own favorite food shots.

I had a hard time choosing just 10 photos but here’s what I came up with.

Roasted Baby Roma Tomato and Feta Tart

This photo brings back good memories of making my very first (and only) tart.  It was delicious, too! 

 
 

 

Tiramisù

My very first blog photo of the very first dessert I prepared.  I still get excited thinking about it.

 

 

 

Salad à la Paz

I love colorful food and I love how the photo is full of color.

 

 

 

Oven-Roasted, Prosciutto-Wrapped Asparagus

This photo reminds me of how much I love prosciutto and asparagus — oven-roasted!

 

 

 

Fried Yellow Plantain (Kelewele)

This is my all-time favorite comfort food — plantain.  The photo has me salivating.

 

 
 

Peaches in Red Wine

 Another earlier dessert I learned to prepare.  Very simple.  Very good.

 

 

Oven-roasted Carrots

This photo reminds me of the best-tasting carrots I ever had.  Yum!  And so easy to prepare.

 

 

 

Hot Meatball Salad

I love this salad.  The meatballs give it an extra punch.  I’m glad the photo came out well.  The tomatoes entice me, too.  ;-)

 
 

 

Carrot and Peanut Salad

I like carrots and peanuts and this was an interesting salad.  Crunchy!  I think I got lucky with this photo, which I like.

    Good thing I’m heading to the gym now - just looking at these pictures has added 5 pounds! oh yum. The cupcakes got me immediately; the tomato and feta tart is going on the menu this week and that carrot-peanut salad looks really interesting. WONDERFUL photography Paz, don’t know how you do it!

    What a nice collection of photos! And a nice combination of foods in them. I am glad you did this, because it reminded me of your roasted carrot post, which is the perfect thing for the bunch of colorful carrots I picked up at the farmers’ market last Saturday.

    Oh my!! I’ll try to do this, Paz. But WHAT a daunting task! Your photo choices are beautiful. I really like the tart. But I think my favourite photo of your food was the one of all that was left of Christine’s Sunday Night Whole Roasted Chicken! (I guess that for the meme, I’m supposed to choose our photos… otherwise I’d choose that wonderful casserole dish full of all that was left of clearly delicious cornish hen.) -Elizabeth

    Hi Elizabeth: Yay! I’m glad you’ll try to do this meme. Yes, I found it very challenging because there were a lot of photos I liked, INCLUDING the one you mentioned. LOL! I had that photo on my short list but with only 10 photos, from which to choose, I ended up putting it aside. Not only is the photo one of my favorites, but so is the recipe. I’m still making the chicken and still not having the will power to stop and take a photo before eating. :mrgreen: Thanks for letting me know you liked the photo, too.

    Elizabeth: There’s no deadline. Take your time but I’d say just go ahead and pick any 10 photos. It’s understood that you’ll have more than 10 photos. Just have fun with the meme and don’t take it too seriously, otherwise it really will take you forever to do. ;-)
