    Do you skate, Pau?
I did as a child but now not any more.
Have a great week, you too.

Sorry, I misspelled you name, Paz!

I remember skating at Rockefeller Center with my father when I was a little girl. There’s nothing quite like it!

    I’d love to be there!

Cheers and have a good week!

In all the years I lived in NYC, I never once skated at Rockefeller Center. Maybe I was too self-conscious, I don’t know. Did you try?

Sounds good, but I just got back from a week vacation and need to do some work. Happy New Year!

    Always wanted to skate there.

Hi Olivia: I’ve been roller skating a couple of times in my youth, but I’ve never gone ice skating. No problem misspelling my name.

Hi Lydia: What a wonderful memory!

Hi Rosa: I’d love for you to be here! ;-)

Hi Mari: Of all the years I’ve lived in the city, I’ve never once gone ice skating there, either. I think it may be more of a tourist thing to do. I don’t know.

    Hi Simona: Welcome back!

Hi Tanna: It’ll always be here for you to come visit. ;-)

Hi Per: There are lots of sounds. Lots of people! ;-)

Hi LynnH: I’m so glad. ;-) If you want to see more NYC photos, feel free to visit my photo blog.

    Thanks, everyone, for stopping by.

    Hi Paz,

I did catch some ice skating sounds recently. I bet it sounds more or less similar in NYC?

Hi Per: Yes, I’m sure the sounds are similar. Very similar. ;-)

Did you play the soundclip? :)

Hi Per: I only just realized that you included a link. For some reason (probably because I was reading the comments very fast), I missed the link that you posted. I went back to listen to it and yes NYC sounds are very similar. Except it’s in English. LOL! I love your idea of taping sounds of the city. Very cool. Thanks for sharing with us.

Thanks Paz. It’s sort of an experiment but really fun when we find the right sounds. Feel free to suggest what kind of sounds would be interesting. Resources are limited but ideas still very much welcome.
