New York Monday #95: Red Dot
November 5, 2007 | Filed Under Cookies, Donation, Drop in & Decorate, New York Monday

Due to the unseasonably warm weather in New York City, it’s taking a while for the leaves to change color. The majority of the leaves are still green. However, in some places, you’ll see touches of yellow and red — reminders that the fall season is here.
Have a great week everyone.

Imagine that. Here they’re yellow or already lying in the streets. This is my favourite season but unfortunately colder than we’ve seen in recent years.
Hi Olivia: I love your haikus!
Hi Per: Welcome! Fall is my favorite season, too. It is not cold yet. Perhaps, soon we’ll have yellow leaves.

Hi Paz,
We don’t see many Fall colors in San Francisco. I guess we just don’t have the trees that put on that sort of show.
Hope you have a great week too.
How cool….leaves are actually starting to turn a bit down here in the south. Or, perhaps they are simply drying up. We desperately need rain.
Great! Here, the leaves are falling fast. In 2 weeks, the trees will be naked..
Cheers,
Rosa
Hi Anna Maria: I’m sure other spectacular things happen in San Francisco.
Hi Janice: I hope you get some rain very soon.
Thanks for stopping by, all.

Hi Rosa: Are the trees bare, yet. Most of the trees are still green here. A few have turned yellow and red.

Hi chef Paz. Take a drive Upstate and see all the beautiful colors! It’s a nice way to spend the day. Could I tempt you with apple cider doughnuts??
Hi Maryann: Welcome! Apple cider doughnuts? Yum! I’m tempted! I’m tempted! Unfortunately, like many New Yorkers, I don’t know how to drive.
