I know, I'm a weirdo). Personally, I think it makes firefighters look like a bunch of crazies. But I'm hooked on the show anyway. The parts where the guys are fighting fires and saving lives is recreated very well, and does give viewers a glimpse into how tough a job firefighting is. I frequently see the local firemen shopping at the supermarket near my apartment in full riot gear. The fire truck is parked outside in front of the fire hydrant. I guess they gotta eat!
