Hi Jan: Yes, what would we do without them?

Hi Ming: LOL! Yes, they do have to eat! I've seen them shopping in the grocery story, too.

Hi Mari: I've seen Rescue Me a few times. But I don't have cable so I can't watch it. I like the show.

Hi Maryann: Welcome and thanks for stopping by. I'm glad you did. ;-)

I have been meaning to stop by and look at your blog..and I'm glad I did :) Very nice. I like your photos and the special feature of city pics. I lived most of my life right outside the city in the burbs.

Must be something in the air...I've been watching "Rescue Me" on DVD (I don't have cable. I know, I'm a weirdo). Personally, I think it makes firefighters look like a bunch of crazies. But I'm hooked on the show anyway. The parts where the guys are fighting fires and saving lives is recreated very well, and does give viewers a glimpse into how tough a job firefighting is.

Are you sure they didn't just come back from the supermarket???

I frequently see the local firemen shopping at the supermarket near my apartment in full riot gear. The fire truck is parked outside in front of the fire hydrant.

I guess they gotta eat!
