New York Monday #74: Who likes Jazz?

All of a sudden, I’m noticing street signs named after people.  Here’s the latest one I saw, named after the musician Duke Ellington.  Very cool!

  6. Nice photo! Masonic Auditorium, SF, a few years ago, Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, playing a whole concert of Ellington’s music: what an evening!

    I like various types of jazz and Cab Calloway is one of my favorite performers. Especially love “Minnie the Moocher.” :smile:
